Ingredients for French Silk Pudding:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • ¾ cup Truvía granulated sweetener
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter

How to Make Easy French Silk Pudding:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Place the whipped cream in the refrigerator.
  2. In a small saucepan, whisk the eggs and sweetener until well blended. Add the chocolate and butter. Cook over medium heat, whisking frequently, until the chocolate and butter are melted. Continue to cook, whisking frequently, until the mixture coats the back of a spoon, 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
  3. Using a rubber spatula, slowly fold the chocolate mixture into the whipped cream, stirring gently until it is well blended.
