Easy Homemade Chocolate Chip Waffle Recipe - One of my favorite things about keto is that you can make almost any dish keto-friendly with a few simple swaps. Enter chocolate chip waffles! Enjoy this waffle topped with a pat of butter and some sugar-free syrup or Keto Whipped Cream.

Easy and Homemade: Chocolate Chip Waffle Recipe

Ingredients for Easy and Homemade Chocolate Chip Waffle Recipe:
  • ⅓ cup blanched almond flour
  • ½ tablespoon coconut flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 drops liquid stevia
  • 1 tablespoon stevia-sweetened chocolate chips (see notes)

For Topping (Optional)
  • Swerve confectioners’-style sweetener
  • Sugar-free syrup
  • Salted butter

Directions for Easy and Homemade Chocolate Chip Waffle Recipe:

  1. Preheat a waffle maker to medium-high heat.
  2. Place all the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a large bowl and blend until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Spray the hot waffle maker with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot waffle iron and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until light golden brown.
  5. Serve dusted with Swerve confectioners’-style sweetener and topped with sugar-free syrup and butter, if desired.

I use Lily’s baking chips. These chocolate chips are dairy-free but are manufactured using equipment that may come into contact with dairy, so those with dairy allergies should be cautious.
This recipe can also be used to make chocolate chip pancakes if you don’t have a waffle maker.
